Synthesis

  The field diaries presented were made based on the development of the classes taught by the teacher Amparo Caicedo Reyes to her students, to carry out these diaries the population of the sixth, seventh and eighth grades was taken, taking into account the processes and activities that were developed in each class, linking in the same way the methodology and the didactics used by the teacher in charge. The development of my participant observation practices was carried out in a public school in the municipality of San Agustín, where the population of students who attend this institution is on average between the ages of 12 and 18, who live in areas rural and urban. Observed Population

  The observed population belongs to the sixth, seventh and eighth grades, the students of these grades are between the ages of 12, 13, and 14 years, part of them live in rural areas and the rest in urban areas. Students who also come from different ethnic groups, whether indigenous, LGBT or migrant, since the institution is inclusive and for this it develops different projects and activities that link the student population and the community in general, thus providing the same opportunities, equality, and equity. for all, on the other hand I can affirm that the teachers of the institution carry out different activities that link the entire student population.

Process of my Participant Observation Practice

  During the development of my practices, I experienced many significant moments, in which they taught me many things, both about ethics and what to do as a teacher. The few times I had the opportunity to stand in front of the board and fulfill the role of teacher, I was able to identify what was the role and role played by the teacher in the classroom? In the same way, I was able to create a very special bond with the students, allowing me to identify methodologies and different teaching methods that facilitate teaching. On the other hand, the fact of looking at and evidencing different situations that can arise in the classroom, allowed me to identify the correct way to provide solutions to these possible problems. All these little things made my practices fruitful and full of joyful and harmonious moments. Conclusions

  1.  through pedagogical practices I discovered what a teacher should do, as well as identified some methodologies and theories that the teacher applies in the classroom to generate more assertive and effective communication when directing her class. ​ 2. By carrying out the pedagogical practices in person, they allowed me to identify different ways to solve some problems that arose throughout the development of the classes, in a more assertive and precise way. ​ 3. The fact sharing the classroom with the students was a significant experience, due to the fact that you can identify which are the pedagogical and didactic strategies that are applied within the classes and how these are indicated to develop a class.

Methods

  Audiolingual Method.  One of the methodologies that I found interesting is the Audiolingual Method, which basically consists of acquiring a language through repetition, emphasizing oral expression and pronunciation. Through this method, students can develop skills such as listening and speaking, skills that allow people to communicate more assertively and clearly, the most interesting thing about this method is the role played by the teacher in the classroom as he focuses on speaking in English while students acquire speech patterns through repetition and analysis of spoken language.
